A message from our founder…

‘Make a Medic is a charitable incorporated organisation that is run by a group of UK-based medical students and junior doctors. We provide affordable, high quality medical educational resources for medical students and junior doctors, and use the funds raised to support medical education and public health initiatives in low- and middle-income countries.

Ultimately, Make a Medic is about addressing inequality. We have a keen interest in improving access to healthcare and have embarked on several projects that hope to improve health outcomes in various parts of the world (see our projects page for more information).

Learning medicine is tough, but the availability of high quality resources can facilitate a student’s journey towards becoming a competent and confident doctor. By using our resources and attending our courses, students will not only be strengthening their knowledge base and building their confidence, they will also be aiding the development of their contemporaries and improving health outcomes in other parts of the world.’

Our People

Make a Medic is fuelled by the goodwill and determination of a small team of talented volunteers.
